Swan Lake Campground is found in Swan Lake Provincial Recreation Area, 40 km southwest of Rocky Mountain House on Hwy. 752 and 20 km southeast on an access road. Here there are around 25 sites well suited for RVs and tents. Most sites are surrounded by trees, with a few choice sites located next to the lake. This campground is found in Tay River Provincial Recreation Area, 16 km southwest of Caroline on Hwy. 591. Sites are suited to both RVs and tents. Most are in an open grassy field, with a few choice sites by the river. The Tay River is good for fishing. There are OHV and horse trails nearby. The Narrows Campground, The Narrows Provincial Recreation Area

This scenic campground is first come first serve only and is built along a narrow channel connecting two portions of Buffalo Lake. Sites are RV and tent-friendly and surrounded by trees. The channel offers good opportunities for shore fishing and is great for young anglers and paddlers. Three Isle Lake Backcountry Camping, Peter Lougheed Provincial Park

Three Isle Backcountry Campground is in Peter Lougheed Provincial Park, 50 km south of Hwy. 1 on Hwy. 40 and south on Kananaskis Lakes Trail. The closest access is at North Interlakes Day Use. It is 10.3 km from the trailhead via Upper Kananaskis Lake Circuit/Three Isle Lake Trail. Tent sites are scattered amongst the trees above the lake. Enjoy beautiful lake and mountain views at this scenic site. No fires permitted. There are pit/vault toilets and secure food storage lockers here.
