Ross Lake Campground, Whitney Lakes Provincial Park

Elk Point

Ross Lake Campground is located in Whitney Lakes Provincial Park, 1km south of Elk Point on Hwy. 41, 27km east on Hwy. 646 to access road. With three natural sand beaches, campers and day users enjoy summer days boating, paddling, fishing, and birding. More than 145 birds and waterfowl have been observed here. Enjoy hiking more than 30km of trails that link the lakes throughout Whitney Lakes Provincial Park.

Rummel Lake Winter Backcountry Campground is found in Spray Valley Provincial Park. The nearest access is near Mount Engadine Lodge, 40 km south of Canmore  on the Smith Dorrien/Spray Lakes Trail (Hwy. 742). The campground is about 5 km from the trailhead. This is the only designated winter backcountry campground in Kananaskis. Here you can enjoy the peacefulness of the forest and views of Rummel Lake and Mount Galatea in any season. Running Lake Campground, Running Lake Provincial Recreation Area

This quiet little campground is found in Running Lake Provincial Recreation Area, 7 km east and 22 km north of Worsley. Treed sites are close to the lake, providing opportunities to swim, enjoy the beach, or launch a non-motorized or electric powered boat. Enjoy the surrounding forest while walking or mountain biking on the trails.<br>Water from the pump is NOT potable.

Sandy McNabb Campground is found in Sheep River Provincial Park, 21 km west of Turner Valley on Hwy. 546. There are over 100 well-treed sites suited to RVs and tents. Enjoy the towering pine forest, crystal clear Sheep River, hiking, mountain biking and equestrian trails in the area.<br>Firewood available for purchase at manager`s site and from firewood truck.A sewage disposal station is located here, one of two in the park. This campground is nestled along the shore of Saskatoon Lake in Saskatoon Island Provincial Park, 21 km west of Grande Prairie on Hwy. 43 and 4 km north on an access road. There are over 100 sites here, including both power and non-power sites. Walk-in tenting sites are located right along the lakeshore. Seibert Lake Campground, Lakeland Provincial Recreation Area

Lac La Biche

Seibert Lake Campground is located in Lakeland Provincial Recreation Area, 17 km south of Lac La Biche on Hwy. 36, 60 km east of Hwy. 55, and 20 km north on the access road.  Just outside the entrance of the campsite, there is a staging area for OHV use for the trail network throughout Lakeland PRA, including access to Spencer Lake.<br>Due to high water levels and run-off, the road conditions into Seibert Lake are poor.  Motorhomes are not recommended on Seibert Lake Trail (road).
