This foothills campground is found in Waiparoud Creek Provincial Recreation Area, 13 km west of Cochrane on Hwy. 1A and 36 km north on Hwy. 40. Here you can enjoy fishing and hiking as well as OHV trails nearby. Registered campers may off-load and travel to OHV trails from their campsites.<br>Opening date subject to snow levels. Camping season may extend into November, weather-permitting.Water is available from a hand pump at this site. Although Alberta Parks strives to maintain water quality, we recommend that you bring your own drinking water.

This campground is found in Waskahigan River Provincial Recreation Area, 37.5 km south of Valleyview on Hwy. 43. A nice little riverside campground on the edge of a mixed boreal forest. Whitehorse Creek Campground is found in Whitehorse Creek Provincial Recreation Area, about 6 km southwest of Cadomin on a gravel access road. It is a staging area for the Whitehorse Wildland Provincial Park. The campground is situated along scenic Whitehorse Creek, near the confluence of the Whitehorse Creek and McLeod River. There are over 90 sites, including power, sewer and unserviced options. Located along the North Saskatchewan River, there are opportunities for canoeing, fishing and swimming.
