Located 20 minutes south of Youngstown, AB, on Highway 884, Blood Indian Park offers a quiet getaway with everything your family needs. Spacious back-in and pull-through serviced sites are located near the spray park, playground, toilets, showers, and laundry facilities. A free sani-dump station is available on-site.
You’ll find random shoreline camping throughout the park, with over 250 un-serviced campsites giving you access to firepits, picnic tables, playgrounds, toilets, and garbage disposal.
Blood Indian Park is a popular fishing destination in Alberta’s grasslands. Here, anglers enjoy shoreline fishing and easy access to floating docks and boat launches. The reservoir is stocked with over 175,000 fingerling trout each year, including Brook, Brown, Rainbow, and Tiger Trout.
Power boating over 12 km/hour is not permitted, making it a paddler’s paradise with ample nature-watching opportunities. Grassland nature trails offer safe biking and hiking for campers of all ages to enjoy.
Potable water is available in the campground during the season as weather permits (generally May 1 to October 15). Outside the camping season (May 1 to December 1) unserviced rates will apply for camping in the park.
