Obed Lake Campground, Obed Lake Provincial Park

A small campground found in Obed Lake Provincial Park, 55 km west of Edson off Hwy. 16. This is a small access point to a large lake along the Yellowhead Highway. Sites are suited to both RVs and tents. A great spot to launch a canoe or power boat to fish or explore the expansive lake.<br>Water is available from a hand pump at this site. Although Alberta Parks strives to maintain water quality, we recommend that you bring your own drinking water.

<br>This campground has pull-through sites.You are expected to bring your own water. Government of Alberta regulations require that water from pumps/taps like the one located here NOT be used for drinking, cooking or washing (including brushing teeth and washing dishes). Water from the pump/tap onsite can only be used for purposes like putting out a campfire.The sewage disposal station here is permanently closed. The nearby Town of Fort Macleod operates a public sewage disposal and potable water station (located on the east side of the town next to Mac`s Convenience Store).

This small riverside campground is in Oldman River North Provincial Recreation Area, 40 km north of Crowsnest on Forestry Trunk Road. Sites are suitable for tents and RVs and are surrounded by trees. Go fishing here or access the nearby OHV and snowmobiling trails right from your campsite.<br>Opening dates are subject to weather conditions. All campsites are first come-first served. Self-registration is in effect with camping fees paid by cash or personal cheque only.No firewood is available on site.You are expected to bring your own water. Paddy`s Flat Campground is found in Elbow River Provincial Recreation Area, 20 km west of Bragg Creek along Hwy. 66. Here there are nearly 100 well-treed sites which are well suited for RVs and tents. Several of the sites back on to the Elbow River. Park Lake Campground, Park Lake Provincial Park

This lakeside campground is in Park Lake Provincial Park, 17 km northwest of Lethbridge on Hwy. 25 and 5 km north and west on Hwy. 101. Sites are are shaded by mature trees and are suitable for RVs and tents. There are unserviced, powered and lakefront options. Enjoy great beach and water activities here. Go fishing, hiking or mountain biking, or get on the water for some sailing, wind surfing or canoeing.<br>Depending on weather and use levels, Park Lake Campground remains open (with power services) until mid-October. From the beginning of October to mid-October, camping is first come-first












Payne Lake Campground, Payne Lake Provincial Recreation Area

This scenic lakeside campground is in Payne Lake Provincial Recreation Area, 25 km west of Cardston on Hwy. 5 (18 km east of Waterton Lakes National Park on Hwy. 5). Choose from scenic lakeview sites or the shade and privacy of natural mixed forest. Fish for trout, hike, sail, windsurf, canoe, or go power boating on the lake.<br>Services are not available during the winter season. Campground is not plowed in the winter and access is dependent on weather conditions. Firewood concession during peak season only; firewood is not available during winter months.
